As part of our Monarch Butterfly Study, we made this adorable recycled cardboard craft! My boys had a blast making this, and it is super easy to make. This was also a great Fine Motor Activity, which practiced the Pincer Grasp.

Materials
- Recycled cardboard
- Dried red lentils
- Dried black beans
- Mod Podge glue
Instructions
- Cut out a butterfly shape out of recycled cardboard.
- Set up a bowl of dried red lentils and dried black beans.
- Use a paintbrush to apply mod podge to the cardboard.
- Place the dried beans on the glue.
- Let dry flat.
