These laminated leaves couldn’t be easier to make, and they last forever! We made these over a year ago and they are still going strong. This light board is a budget friendly option, which usually goes for less than $20 as compared to traditional light boxes which can cost hundreds.
Make sure your leaves are dry and mostly flat.
You can either choose to use a laminator if you have one, or you could use these self laminating sheets. Self laminating sheets are a pouch of two sticky plastic sheets, so they work without a laminator or heat source.
On our lightboard, we also experimented with a kaleidoscope and lenses from our wooden toy camera.
